REWA Review on Three PCB Holders for iPhone Logic Board Repair

As an indispensable tool of mobile phone repair, the PCB holder also attracts the attention of repair technicians. What’s the difference among commonly used PCB holders? Which PCB holder is the right choice? Today we will bring you a review on three commonly used PCB holders.

The first one is a basic and universal PCB holder. Made of synthetic stone that can prevent heat dissipation, the universal holder features a simple structure with movable bayonets and a positioning screw to secure the logic board.

Universal PCB holder With a double steel-plate base and sponge mats on four corners of the base, the universal holder is stable for usage.  It’s very easy to handle. Still, when adjusting the bayonet, we need to stay away from important components on the board to avoid damaging them.

The biggest advantage of the universal PCB holder is that it works with all motherboards. Not only iPhone logic boards, but also motherboards of Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi, and some other phone brands. So, as we can see, the universal PCB holder is easy to use, practical and cost-effective. It is definitely the right choice for personal usage and small-scale repair shops. Now, let’s move on to the next PCB holder. Made of synthetic stone in more smart design, together with 7-shaped buckles and dovetail buckles to secure the logic board, this PCB holder is specially designed for iPhone logic board, applicable to iPhones from iPhone 5S to iPhone 8P.

With a double steel-plate base and antiskid rubber mats on four corners of the base, this PCB holder also features hollow-carved design on the base for heat dissipation. Moreover, we can put moist sponge mats under the logic board to prevent pseudo soldering when operating. Those buckles on this specially designed PCB holder will bring no damage to tiny components on the logic board. iPhone logic boards fit in the holder perfectly. There are also six IC slots on the PCB holder for CPU (A8-A11), NAND and PCIE.

There is a slot at the top of these IC slots. This is the slot for components detached during the repair. All in all, this specially designed PCB holder is very practical, especially for those repair shops who work mainly with iPhone logic boards. Here comes the last one. Also a specially designed iPhone logic board PCB holder that is applicable to iPhones from iPhone 5s to iPhone 8P.

Made of synthetic stone, together with a double steel-plate base and antiskid rubber mats on four corners of the base, this PCB holder also features hollow-carved design on the base for heat dissipation. Yes, just like the previous one. Buckles on this holder also bring no damage to components on the logic board. This specially designed PCB holder features a relatively large operating area that supports two logic boards at the same time. One with the front side, the other one with the back side. We can also see that there is a slot on the left that can be used to place components detached during the repair.

There are also some upgrades on the IC slots comparing with the previous PCB holder. Besides these IC slots mentioned above, there are also IC slots for A12 CPU, PCIE 2, and three additional slots for home button repair. Which makes this PCB holder applicable to different repair cases. A22 PCB Holder is also currently used by REWA technicians. We highly recommend it to those with batch repair needs.
